Nosara has always been one of my favorites, the vibes in this little beach town are great. People here are super friendly, down to earth and beautiful inside and out. Nosara is known for its great weather, surf, yoga institute, small coffee shops and amazing restaurants.

If it is local Tipico food, Italian, French, vegetarian or even sushi, you can find it in Nosara.
The nightlife is happening in Nosara almost every night of the week.

You can dance around a fire on the beach, listen to live music, groove to reggae night, play some pool, watch the game or kick it at PACR surf house.

Sushi Fridays at Luna is a must. This artsy place is situated on the beach, with day beds, projector displaying great videos, and playing nothing but great music all night.

Nosara Area Surf Spots and Break Descriptions

The surf is going off year round, waves with an averaging 4-5 feet, the breaks are fast, thick and not to crowded. You can catch epic wave here all year.

The 411 on Playa Guiones – Playa Guinones is a beach break with plenty solid lefts and rights. This break is always breaking, swells and tides are and added bonus for this wave. Unlike allot of surf Guiones is often soft at high tide, and hollow at lower tides. The surf here is consistent, uncrowded and very often over 6 feet.

Down the road around the point you find, Olga’s - Short right hand reef break in front of Olga’s Bar and Restaurant in Playa Pelada, 4 klm from Guines. Catch this wave 4 hours before.

The weather in Nosara from December to June is sun, sun and more sun. Days are in the high 30’s and evening high 20’s.
