Here are some of the latest results: Ski Rixen…not only did Wakeology place, they dominated.

Diego Shaw took first place in the shred a thon pro division and to top it off Tracy Baynham took first in the intermediate; sending the boys packing.

Diego is a recent addition to the Wakeology Cable team and he has already proven he is an asset to the growing company. Diego has been building a solid reputation in the wakeboard cable scene, his success has been followed, it was only a matter of time before a company like Wakeology presented him with a well deserved offer to join their team. There are no doubts that Diego will continue to tear it up in the cables.

Robert Absher has been throwing it down like a champ all over the wakes scene, killing it at McCormicks cable park and mustering up new tricks daily. The new Wakeology set up has Absher sticking it all.

Respect to Jonathan Nadolski (Nads)

I would like to take a minute to thank Nads for his effort and support to Wakeology. Jonathan he has been there from the beginning, helping Jason Judd (founder of Wakeology) every step of the way. Nads continual feedback and knowledge of the sport has helped in the board shaping and design department and his riding in the image and representation of the Company.

Jonathan is a real rider, wakeboarding and wakeskating for passion; not an ego boost. Jonatnan Nadolski has taken a few year off the pro tour but expect to see him back on the scene real soon, good luck bro and props from PACR.

Another shout out to Nikki Wilhoite, team rider for Wakeology who is also tearing it up out there and using her stoke to add stoke to the stoke….yeye…Wakeology

Beau Parker had four solid days of skateboarding, wakeskating and surfing, I have never seen a board sport junkie so happy.

First day skateboarding and free natural hot springs,
Second day Wakeskating on butter in front of the Active Arenal Volcano
Third day morning skate afternoon wake
4th day surf and skate in Tamarindo,finishing it off with a St Patty’s day pub Crawl

Signature Wakeskates is a true skate inspired company their handcrafted boards from Texas were inspired by skaters not wake boarders.

To insure each Signature Wakeskate is perfect, Owner , Builder, Shaper and Rider, Clint Tompkins runs his hand down each one.

The board has a rounded nose and tail, giving it the look of a large skateboard but the concave top deck is where its at. Each Signature Wakeskate is shaped to give the rider a true skate feel while aiding in control. Feels like bi-level with a dramatic contour top, with the durability of a 3D solid.

To insure the board stays that way Clint decided not to cut corners, taking the time and effort to come up with a way to increase the life span , rivaling other wood, and fully composite decks.

Clint’s experience in the wakeskate scene allowed him to come up with a solution to do just that.
Signature uses a blend of vertical laminated wood for the core, this method makes the wakeskate responsive , flexible and durable. Fiberglass and glues just don’t cut it, Signature uses the best materials in all their wake skates.

Each of these masterpieces are enclosed in a PBT plastic skin and sealed from top to bottom with a black ABS side wall.

Paradise Adventures Costa Rica already shaping up for 2010

We started the year by adding Pro X-series fat sacs.

Sean Kelly is a happy owner of a 2007 super Air Nautique 210 and had no complaints riding with PACR,

“The wake is super solid, has a nice approach and there is no reason the pro’s wouldn’t trough it down behind Adrenalina”.

Sean rode with PACR for 4 days in which we managed to capture some sick footage at the Arenal Volcano.

The sun was shining, and the lake conditions were perfect; 79 degree, butter.

Sean put on show that stopped traffic on the dam, cars and tour buses stopped and tourist spilled out to take photos and videos of wakeboarding with PACR.

Some Locals even climbed down the banks of the dam to get an even better look.

Later that afternoon some riders from Spain joined us, who have not ridden in some time, they were stoked to have found PACR by a simple Google search (wakeboarding Costa Rica)

Both riders mentioned the wake was the largest they have ridden and had nothing but smiles on their faces as climbed the wall and stuck it wake to wake with ease.

Boat full of riders, blue skies and the Arenal Volcano joins the fun by rumbling and pumping out some fresh new earth, boulders and lava flowing, and smoke rising; no better time for a photo op.

Sean strapped in and stole the show, the smoke lifted and applause grew louder…another day in Paradise
