PACR’s location in Costa Rica’s Tropical Zone adds a great deal to the impact of our adventures. I am sure many of the adventures provided can be experienced in other parts of the world, but I am also very confidant that many of the spots do not offer the Pura Vida to the extreme of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica’s rain forest and beaches.
Paradise Adventures Costa Rica started out as a wakeboarding, wakeskating company and over the years our travels and experiences has us sharing allot more than that, if its fun and it takes place in the Pura Vida chances are PACR offers way to grab hold of it. I have lived here for over 17 years now and it is one of my personal interest and goals to find and share the true Costa Rica with visitors. Paradise Adventures has been a perfect way to experience the PURE LIFE. You can come here and not worry about anything while riding; just be caught up in the moment with scenery and solitude. Being able to wakeboard on a flat lake at the very base of and active volcano and in the middle of a rainforest is an experience so perfect that it may seem out of reach; but it’s not! Flights to Costa Rica can be inexpensive, especially if out of Florida (for those who live or are training in Florida).
The boat has an equal and smooth wake that let me do all the tricks I can do. The country is gorgeous in all places and has so much to offer. I literally discover at least ten unique animals or plants each day that I never before knew existed! Today I went to the beach and saw the gorgeous, pink sunsets and the perfectly smooth waves.
For those of you who have heard that Lake Arenal is famous for wind sports: let me be the first to tell you this is the other side of this giant lake. The other side of the lake also took a three hour bus ride to get to. The volcano side of the lake is extremely flat; and I drove by both sides yesterday and saw the difference of the two!
Don’t put coming to Costa Rica on your “maybe someday I’d love to do that” list. Put it on your “must visit soon” list. It is possible and very worth it! Paradise Adventures is a great way to welcome you to Costa Rica. Jonny and Sofia are so nice and will be excellent hosts to the wakeboard house if you decide to stay there. They can also tell you about anything you would like to know about Costa Rica. Pura Vida is waiting for you!

We wakeboarded with Paradise Adventures Costa Rica and it was awesome. The owner, Jonny, did a great job teaching my son how to board. As a mom, I felt very safe with him at the wheel. All you need to do is show up at shoreside at Paradise Adventures takes care of the rest.
