ATV and Side by side tours are a perfect way to cover the variety of exciting and challenging terrains while offering spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano. (on a clear day)
Riders will experience mountain passes, river crossings, and lush jungles surrounded by primary and secondary rainforests. These terrains are inaccessible on foot. Using an ATV or Side by Side will save you time and allow you to take in as much of the Costa Rican biodiversity as possible.

SBS and ATV details
The tour starts with a warm-up track to help you get comfortable with operating the machines. Once the ATVs and SBSs are warmed up, we’ll progress to the more advanced sections, bringing you closer to the volcano. Here, you will have a short break to take in the stunning views of the La Fortuna ranges and the majestic Arenal Volcano. (on a clear day)
After enjoying the backcountry and some trails, you head to the Arenal River for a drink and a refreshing swim. (weather permitting)
Once you’ve relaxed and cleaned off some of the mud from your ATV adventure, it’s time to return to the trails and head back to the entrance.
Safety is a priority.
We have a strict policy against the misuse of SBSs and ATVs, particularly speeding, which can not only threaten the safety of fellow riders but also cause significant damage to our equipment.
You will be accompanied by our experienced guides, who are familiar with navigating the challenging terrains of rivers, mud, and the lush Costa Rican jungle.
They will share their extensive knowledge of the region’s incredible biodiversity, introduce you to various flora and fauna, and provide insights into the unique ecosystems that thrive in Costa Rica.

We are a 100% insured company, and the minimum age to drive an ATV is 16 and 18 for SBS.
ATV pricing: $130.00 for a double machine and $120.00 for a single
Private ATV Details: $215 for a double machine and $200 for a single
Tour duration: 2 hours (17.4 miles)
Tour times: 7:30 AM, 11:00 and 2:30 PM
