Zipline Canopy Tour for the whole family
Looking for a break from the sun? Interested in adding some excitement to your visit to Guanacaste? We have special equipment and highly trained guides that allow us to safely share this unique experience with children as young as two.
Family Fun and conservation in one place.
Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, and Dad are all welcome to enjoy this memorable experience. We have the proper equipment in all sizes, a special harness for kids starting at two years old, and our ziplines and platforms are inspected daily and of the highest quality; safety and fun are our number one priorities.
While still very exciting, the tour is not about speed or adrenaline but rather comfort and control, allowing people to enjoy the spectacular views of the forest below. An aquifer called Nimboyores is responsible for much of the water that runs down to the coast. The dense jungle canopy provides shade to the aquifer, ensuring water for animal and plant life year-round.
Zipline Tour Details
Our friendly guides will welcome you and equip you with a helmet, harness, and gloves, followed by a safety speech and introduce you to ziplining. After your questions are answered and everyone is ready to go, it is time for the fun to begin!
Start by ascending a majestic spiral staircase around a 20-meter-tall Guanacaste tree.
The tour includes 10 ziplines (Ziplines are from 50 to 400 meters long), 1 hanging bridge, 1 Tibetan bridge, and a Tarzan Swing, where we will jump from one tree to the other to continue with the rest of the ziplines.
The zipline takes place in the primary forest; you will soar above the canopies of the lower trees, enjoying a panoramic view of the forest, including the Spavel, also known as “the tree friends of rivers” due to their ability to grow tall and strong near water.
The change in the forests is noticeable, providing guests with a better understanding of the works and importance of nature and conservation. What is the importance of this particular forest? By having water, the forest provides abundant food for all kinds of wildlife. This attracts different animals up the food chain and creates a diverse ecosystem. We have found howler monkeys, hedgehogs, reptiles, anteaters, many types of birds, etc. By protecting our forest, we protect life.
